Hola,
The Canyon tour was great, the guide was amazing and our group of 10 had a great energy. The first day we took the public bus (image a voyager bus or grey hound bus that stops 30 times and that allows people to stand in the isle) for a 6 hour trip. We got to the town of Cabanaconde where we had lunch and prepares for the trek down the Canyon. Before leaving Katherine and I took a stroll in town and witness 2 bulls fighting and we had to get out of there way, never been so happy about not wearing red ;-).
It took 4 hour to get down to our resting place in a very remote village where they use donkey to help carry what they need. That night we watch some football in the kitchen with the locals. The next day we saw 2 other villages 18 families each and had lunch at a place called the Oasis (swimming included). Then at about 2pm the fun began... the trek back to Cabanaconde. It is a 1100m vertical climb, I’m still suffering from it. It was so hard that I did not take any pictured on the way up ;-)
Back at the hostel we celebrate... watching football.
The next day was the Condors where I was able to use one of my photo lens for the first time. Next was the hot springs where I took a nap instead of spending more time in the heat.
Their is a manifestation that keeps us from going to Cuzco tonight so we are heading to Puno tomorrow morning. It is a village on the border of Lake Titicaca.
We are also planning on going to Argentina and Bolivia... as time past we get more information from other travellers and it inspires us.
love from Peru!

This message was exquisite! Sublime! On se croirait sur les lieux à tes côtés. Je viens de créer un blogue que j'ai baptisé Récits et refrains : raconte-nous une histoire!
