Baracas and Nazca

Hello!
we spent 2 great days in Baracas in a nice Hostel with view on the ocean.
Katherine and I met 2 guys from San Francisco the second we stepped out of the bus. They spoke spanish perfectly and we travelled together for a while. We took a boat tour to the Baracas Island and we saw lots of birds and sea lions.
The food is great, we have our own groceries for breakfast and lunch and we go out at night for dinner. There´s great sea food here and the places we´ve been did a great job cooking it.

We experienced public transport in different forms: taxi, auto (hop on hop off taxis), bus. If we take the time we can save a lot, for example we could have a 90 soles bus fare from Baracas to Nazca and after discussing with a local we end up paying only 30 soles. It was fun discovering more of what peruviens do in their daily lives.

Today we are going on a tour to go sand surfing and see some ruins and aqueducts.

next report from our next location: Arequipa

ciao!
